The number of sellers who come to the Cattle Market for the Sunday car boot varies depending on the season. Paul Nunn, of Shires Motorcycle Training, said in October last year that he had to cancel bike tests because travellers had moved onto the site.

The site is also used as an overnight parking area for HGV drivers and Mr Nunn said it had increased in popularity since secuirty was brought in. Rise in car boot fee to raise cash to keep travellers away.
