Comment by Fathersqui An easy way to be able to get more done is set a gear set with nothing equiped jump and die, so you gear doesn't get damaged, and run back in saves a few minutes with each run instead of running back in, been doing this for a while.

I created an account just to tell everyone how well this guide works. I have been farming Grim Batol for a few days now on my frost mage who is almost max level tailoring and enchanting. I have been getting about 6 bags per hour and they have been selling for g. These bags have been selling almost instantly and if not they usually sell within an hour. Also, before I read this guide I had a couple bags from old raids like mags lair and Papas Big Bag from Forge of Souls.

Comment by Natalaya I've been using Grin Batol for a while now when I need to make Embersilk bags, it has almost the perfect combination of cloth and greens, and the trash loot and gold isn't bad either. I agree with a number of the comments though, the easiest way is to skip the bosses, as well as to simply un-equip gear at the end and jump to your death more runs per hour for your potion.

I also agree doing it on normal mode is the way to go as I haven't found the drops to be substantially better on heroic, yet it will take longer to clear and might be rough on most cloth wearing tailoring classes.

If all you want is gobs of Embersilk cloth though, I'd recommend going to the Firelands daily area Molten Front. Up the side where you destroy the tower area with lots of spiders there are a bunch of Druids of Flame channeling an orb. They can be killed in one hit at 90, and they respawn nearly instantly while dropping crazy amounts of cloth s an hour - though not as many greens as Grim Batol.

Same with Grim Batol, use a character with tailoring cloth bonus and while using a Potion of Treasure Finding. Comment by Pwuebear Great guide. I used this effectively to level up a second tailor with opposite factions to my first.

I could just barely squeeze in four cycles in an hour with a timeless isle geared warlock, without gemmed or enchanted gear, and it was worth approximately silks, 50 greens, and 10 boe blues, plus boss drops and looted coins totalling gold without counting the chests and their contents.

This guide will help a lot as Blizzard have nerfed the troggs in Deepholm by a lot which makes this the ideal guide to go for incase someone needs to get gold by getting greens and loads of cloth! Also another thing that may be to take into consideration for people who read it is: Check your AH, sometimes just selling the dust and the cloth as they are can be a lot more profittable than making bags such as on the server I'm on "Twisting Nether-EU".

Maybe it's because of my ilvl but even with only 2 runs the second took the rest of the potion I still made 4 bags from all the cloth and from the Tiny chests I received ore, volatiles, gold, and cloth. First run I had about 20 chests drop second maybe three from the potion. Trevkno's Guide to Fast Gold - Guides - Wowhead

Blizzard nerfed the drop rates. Full clear got me 29 embersilk and 6 Hipnotic dust and only one tiny chest. Comment by Erik Since Warlords of Draenor I think this has been nerfed. Full clear got me 20 Embersilk and 2 Tiny chests: Comment by heixia Since Grim Batol is nerfed, go for Bastion of Twilight. Just enter the instance clear the first rooms trash loot, go back outside rest the instance and repeat. All ten resets got me LOTS of greens, some x-mog, and about embersilk cloth.

And that's without using the Potion Of Treasure Finding. Note that xAiron had the idea for this and wrote it down here. Comment by dstmars This guide is a waste of time.

There are far better places to farm than this. After one solo run of Grim Batol i made a total of gold after selling the few greens that dropped and trash and got 37 embersilk cloth. I can get embersilk cloth farming Deepholm in an hour so this place is just a waste of time.
