As in, it's legal no one gets any money for someone signing up, only after they become qualified and get some customers and it rests on risidual income.

Apparently it's endorsed by Trump and is supposed to be on the Apprentice in about a month, but I digress. I'm curious if anyone here has done it, and if so what kind of money you're making with it now and how much work is required for what kind of return. Basically you're like a broker for services and products people get already, you can just offer it to them cheaper because you're taking out the middleman.

Have I got a deal for you Read the first pages of the agape world thread to see the mindset of someone trapped inside a pyramid scheme.

Here is the real deal with ACN Review Sep 12, Washington, District Of Columbia @ Pissed Consumer

It is a cult. I found it funny when my ex-friends that were all into ACN then moved over to another one in one giant mo Thanks for the feedback everyone, it's kinda what I figured. Just wanted to get the FWF opinion. It is a pyramid scam Just bc some product is involved to make it legal, you will still be scammed and lose money. I dont get it, when do you make money as a rep? When you sign up other reps? Or when you sign up customers? And a paid endorsement by Trump in no way legitimizes this brand name.

It sounds like you would get paid when the customer pays their bill, or when the lower affiliates' customers pay their bills. The Trump and Apprentice hype has been going on for years and no explosion of business yet. The money you make is for signing people up as reps, and the residual will amount to squat for even people who work their butts off trying to build a team. So you are wrong that it is not pyramidal in nature. ACN people are among the most annoying people in the world.

Video phones are retarded. Ever tried to use one? You have to sit in one place the entire time you are talking and stare at a screen.

What Is ACN All About?- Don’t Fall For The Hype | Jennifer's Passion for Internet Marketing

I know we THINK we are supposed to give the person on the other end of the line your undivided attention, but until you try it, you realize it is a terrible way to communicate on a day to day basis. I have never done ACN but i have known friends who got into it, acted like jerks for a year, ended it, and moved on with their life. ACN invariably turns you into a jerk, and rarely makes you money, and when you do make money, it is from hard sales work in the form of bonuses , not sit back and relax residual.

In many of these programs, the big money comes when a new downline rep pays his buy-in. Sure, you make money when your or your downlines' customers buy things, but often that's peanuts compared to your share of a new rep's buy-in.

A friend of mine does ACN and I've been widely critical of it - but with work, he has made money. I still think if he put the same level of work into any other number of industries, he'd receive a bigger outcome. I place it almost like winning the lottery. Yes, you can get rich if you find 3 or 4 crazy fanatics who dive into this - but most people are just getting their entrepreneur friends and the circle becomes more of a closed loop.

I wouldn't call it a "scam" - but it is clearly MLM - and if you don't know hundreds of people and if you don't like cold marketing, it's probably going to net you a loss.

I refused to do it, but I did take some free pizza and go to the meeting. As a psychology person, I love to break down the psychological tips they use to try and sell you.

Donald Trump has declared backruptsey two times, and screwed over all the people who believed in him, should you really trust what he has to say? That is what I wish I said when I went to one of their meetings. I sat there with the words scheme running around in my head I was baffled that 3 people dropped dollars into this thing and now they are on the hook for monthly fees.

I really simply can't understand why these people did it, to the point I starting thinking maybe I should do it to, obviously they know something after all why would rational people pay dollars just to have a 2nd job.

Of the 3 people 1 of them vanished, the other one hasn't made her money back and the third some how maaged to put together a team. I really wish I could understand how 3 did it. Still glad I didnt sign up. Only your 2nd post? I nominate you for "FWF Rookie of the Year". For example, if he had been flipping burgers, he'd probably have made assistant manager by now, and be making literally twice as much money.

Or, if he's really a skilled salesman, he could have gone into any number of sales jobs and easily be making 10x as much money.

Also people in your downline give up on ACN so your team gets thin if you do not consistently follow up on them and keep them motivated which is very hard because it does not take long to realize ACN is hard to make money with. You have to keep selling to new customers and recruit new people if you want to maintain any decent income. I am familiar with ACN because there was an ACN epidemic at my work.

EVERY single one of them have given up since after about a year or two of insanity. They used to talk real loud when I am around and say stuff like "it's funny how some people just don't GET IT.

They are just not willing to open their minds to the truth! Like i said, ACN people are the most annoying people on earth! I was one of those "doubters" that they referred to and they always made sure I heard it! Do you think they were trying to subconsciously justify their decision to join ACN to themselves, or badger you into joining so that one of them could have you as a downline? Sorry, silly question - the answer is probably both.

ALL ACN reps behaved in this manner so I think it is just training. I found it funny when my ex-friends that were all into ACN then moved over to another one in one giant move, with the same guy at the top getting paid again when he brought his whole downline with him and they all had to pay up again.

And they quickly moved on from that into the "big money makers" which is the team building bonuses, which I have no interest in. By providing links to other sites, FatWallet.
